Growing up on the farm,
Rob was always tinkering around in the shop. His curiosity and ability to think outside of the box contributed to him being among the first to market Ontario, advocating for, manufacturing and installing outdoor sump systems as part of his waterproofing business, R&D Development Group.
As his business grew, he started to notice that the number one complaint that he heard from his clients were that these outdoor sumps were ugly. People didn’t want to install them because, even though they were an excellent solution for fixing their drainage issues, they were such an eye sore. This led him to the web to search for a solution, and he found that in FauxRocks.
FauxRocks are lightweight yet durable, and fit naturally into your landscape, whether in your yard, on your deck, or around your pool area. FauxRocks founder, Jerry Bruce, became the Canada-wide distributor for US-based DekoRRA products after he discovered them in 2008. Rob became a dealer for FauxRocks Canada in 2013. His confidence in the product is based on consistency of quality, colour, and durability. In fact, he’s been so pleased with the cost-effective, beautiful results these fake rocks deliver for his customers that he bought the business in November 2017, bringing FauxRocks under the umbrella of EHS Sales Ltd., with an ever-growing dealer network across Canada.
