Afraid of your basement getting wet again? The Outdoor Sump System offers 3 lines of defence to protect your basement from water damage. The first line: rising water level activate the float and kick starts your pump. If the pump doesn’t work or fails, it will activate the second line of defence – the Battery Backup pump. If both pumps fail, the third line of defence will send a high water alarm to the app on your phone.
The Outdoor Sump System is installed two feet below the footing – The three lines of defence have to to fail before the water begins to fill your weeping tile and drainage stone and then your basement.
Compare that to an indoor sump – if your pump stops working, water has already begun filling the tile and drainage stone and will begin finding its way into your basement.
